This summer we have a huge variety of weddings with lots of fresh and funky ideas- Updating the blog with all the new and latest ideas is starting to prove hard but we shall try and get as much up as possible. Some days we have the opportunity of decorating and styling 4 or more weddings but this post is about a lovely couple that picked the beautiful Richmond Hill Hotel to celebrate their matrimony.
This particular day, I did not get a chance to get a before picture but lots and lots of afters!
We arrived to a semi complete wedding room- tables, cutlery, glasses, the brides little details but chair covers were missing!
We loved the tiny touches the bride added to the table she proved to be a mega green eco friendly bride choosing to give lovely flower favours to her special guests. An average sized wedding of 110 people, whilst we prepared the room the best man arrived to setup for his section with a cute sideshow showcasing pictures and pre wedding stories…it looked very funny.
Little pouches of seeds with the quotation of “Love in Bloom” added a pretty touch to the table.
The little touches further went on with the table place names and an attached heart clip with the continuation of the flowers- She chose a natural placename card with a groovy penmanship. Lovely!
The flowers were an assortment of bright pink peonies and orange roses! a lovely selection- It fit well for the warm summers day that particular Saturday.
For the drinks reception she had her black and pink theme incorporated in personalised napkins “eat.drink,be married.” A great take on the EAT, LOVE, PRAY films! plus the little black mixers- I believe they also created a personalised cocktail for their guests.
The table plan was a simple continuation of the natural and organic flower theme that ran throughout the wedding- little roses, black and white print with a peach backing.
Finally, The stunning look of the room- striking black organza sashes with white chair covers and a beautiful tropical theme with lots of different personalised touches..
